Frequently Asked Questions, What kind of gun can I use? Legal Firearms: Shotgun or Inline Muzzleloader (scopes are legal). Does Golden Triangle Whitetail Outfitter charge a trophy fee? There are no fees, however we have a 125 inch minimum to help ensure proper trophy management. Upon arrical at camp you will watch a video to help judge and score deer in the field. Do you offer discounts for kids? We love having families hunt togeather so any kids under 16 years old are half price with a paid adult. Is it difficult to get a tag in Illinois and is it included in the price? Once you book a hunt we will take down your information and get your IL license and permit online. The permits are not included in our hunt prices. How do you book a hunt? You can email or call Mike @ 7088282378 A $1000 deposit is required to book our hunt, and the balance is due September 1. Can Golden Triangle Whitetails take care of the meat and taxidermy? Your guide will take care of the field dressing and capping your trophy. If you prefer not to take the meat home we will donate it for a $75 fee. We also have a great taxidermist on staff should you choose to have your buck mounted. All mounts will be complete by Feb 1st.
